A -1005 error happens when the license indicates that it requires a heartbeat, and the client has no record of having started one.
When a client retrieves a network seat from our lan daemon, a heartbeat is started on the client side. The client knows to start the heartbeat based on settings in its license. Certain calls such as NSLReturnPool() check the heartbeat to make sure it is current before continuing with the operation.
Check that clients using our lan daemon have retrieved a network seat.
