Daemon missing version string

For versions 2.0.0.12 and above, the lan-daemon sends its version number (a string) to the library when the library connects. If the daemon is too old, newer libraries raise this error.

Note: The new lan daemon is compatible only with library versions 3.5.0 and newer. The daemon will return an error and refuse to communicate with older libraries.

Solution

Make sure that the library and lan daemon version numbers conform to those outlined above.
