Zentitle SDK and Library
|
-3087 indicates that the Hard Drive Serial Number check was enabled when the library was created, but the library is unable to determine the hard drive serial number.
Since they don't have hard drives, this can occur for virtual machines or containers if the virtualization vendor doesn't provide a method to set a hard drive serial number.
If you are using virtual machines, consult the hypervisor manual as to how to ensure a HDSN exists.
Alternatively, on the "integration" page (where you download your librarys), turn off 'HardDisk Serial number check' during library creation.
For the average user and system there will be no difference in security, as the "hard drive serial number" option is largely intended to distinguish between multiple enterprise systems created from a single disk image.
